I purchased my first camera (Nikon D3200) back in university and mainly used it for video projects. After graduating I decided to buy some new lenses and started experimenting with the camera. I quickly discovered the satisfaction from being able to capture a great image.
As a bit of an introvert, I often found myself travelling on my own exploring woodlands or the vast open countryside of England. None of this seemed to really have purpose (yet it was nice to be outdoors). But with a camera in my hand all my wondering began to have a purpose.
Day to Day I work in a warehouse for a high-street retail store. Definitely not the most glamorous job in the world, which is why photography so important to me as it enables me to escape and forget the day job while I hunt for perfect light and composition.
I have no idea where my photography is going to take me in the years to come. For now I’m enjoying the adventure of not knowing and building my skills & passion for the craft. My adventure with photography has allowed me to share some cherished moments with friends and family and to see amazing places I didn’t even know existed.
